Afghanistan
Afghanistan is a landlocked country in Central Asia with a long, narrow strip in the northeast (the Wakhan corridor). Afghanistan is slightly smaller than the state of Texas, with a total area of 647,500 sq km (250,001 sq mi), extending 1,240 km (770 mi) NE–SW and 560 km (350 mi) SE–NW. Afghanistan is bounded on the N by Turkenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, on the extreme NE by China, on the E and S by Pakistan, and on the W by Iran, with a total boundary length of 5,529 km (3,436 mi). Afghanistan's capital city, Kabul, is located in the east central part of the country.

Computerization of Reporting System for Imported Vehicles
Imported vehicles get cleared in all regional customs office will no longer wait for their email reports to obtain verification. With the recent implementation of ASYCUDA transit system between Islamqala – Herat – Kabul, duty paid imported vehicles reports will be sent to destination customs in the same day of clearance.
Previous email system for reporting duty paid vehicles was taking around 15 days to report the confirmation message from Islamqala to Kabul Customs House to be reported to Traffic department for registration.
ASYCUDA project is discussing and working together with central traffic department to establish the computer link between traffic department and customs server to report duty paid imported vehicles directly to traffic department.
